I Miss You =(
hello again people of the universe!! sorry for my absent from the blogging world, have been having exams, have been sick.. but now, everything's over and i'm getting better as well!! Juan, being very inconsiderate have been bugging me to update my blog.. hahaha.. so yea, many things' been going on, and i have a bad bad memory.. i'll see what i can remember...
- after deepavali, nothing much was going on.. my cough was getting worse, i was still going to school and preparing for exams.. i can't even sleep well at night, let alone concentrate properly in class.. didn't really study, so my results this time is beyond bad.. lol.. that's why i hate getting sick during exams..
- my life (ie.going out with frens, going for charismatic,going anywhere) stopped for 2 weeks or so cuz i was having my exams and was sick.. i didn't even touch the car for a week plus =.=!!
- luckily, i'm alive and kicking now.. hahaha..
- the reason i've not been updating is cuz i have nothing to update about.. as u can see, i'm just giving excuses here =P but honestly, that's the truth..
- however, God's been good to me lately... He shed some light on me and knocked some sense into me and i've finally realized something.. many people will be happy to know i guess but i ain't gonna mention it here =)
- how amazing it is, that He never give you answers immediately, but make you wait, listen, see and learn before telling you "My child, it's time you get back up and see things in a wider view!!".. well, at least that's what happened to me =D
- i do feel bad that i don't spend every night before i sleep in prayer with Him, i only do it when i can remember =.=!! even that, He never left me alone! He still watches over me and i hope my grandfather's by His side..
- talking about my grandfather, Amanda's grandfather passed away on All Saint's Day on the 1st and my deepest condolences to her and her family..
- i went for the funeral and i was crying like mad wtf.. when i hugging Amanda, i was cerying more than her, i kid you not.. after that my eyes puffed up =.=!!
- it's been almost 10 years since my grandfather passed away and when he went away, i was 9.. i remember waking up one morning ard 10,my grandmother was sweeping the floor and she immediately told me that my "ah ye" passed away... i didn't really hit me at first, considering i was pretty young.. i didn't even see the body being put into the coffin.. i just saw him in the coffin.. even that, i was afraid cuz i was still young =.=!!
- still, i cried and cried cuz memories of him and i at that time was still fresh, the times when he would carry me on his shoulders to the shops behind my hse and get me junk food.. hahahaha... that was before he got sick of course..i was like 3 or 4..
- it didn't affect me that much after that.. sure, i i miss him and every year, twice a year we'll visit him...and i guess most of the time he just slips away from our minds..
- it wasn't until Amanda's grandfather's funeral when i realized how time flies and it's gonna be 10 years already.. listening to Amanda and her cousins' speeches to their grandfather made me miss mine =( the final few years of his life was just boring.. he couldn't talk, eat,drink,laugh,smile,walk properly.. and i guess we took him for granted at that point..
- we had to visit him every night at their hse of opposite ours.. me, still young, would just go there, hug him, say hi and proceed to watch tv.. it didn't interest me at all to talk to him cuz he can't talk properly.. and when it's time to leave, the same thing happens... never have i thought the last time i would hug him, say hi and bye, i would do it so reluctantly..
- sucks to think back how bad i was.. but then again, i was young.. if he was still around now, i would drive him everywhere and show him how i've grown and could finally drive.. he would be able to see my sister, his first grandchild to get married.. but then again, he would be 95/96 (??) if he's still alive =)
- yargh, i wrote a whole essay on him.. i guess it's time to stop.. hehehe... i don't know how i'll take it when someone in my family leaves, esp now when i understand the meaning of life and death..
- besides all those sad sad stories, i've started my Ecology Project for bio in school!! it's so cool cuz we have to catch bugs and preserve them =D ok la, not so fun when we have to catch it.. so far, i've caught a grasshopper and my mom caught it for me =.=!! i was about to scream and run away.. lol...can't wait to see what other bugs can i find.. and i need to find them pronto!!

The Wedding Part 2 : Penang
haih, i'm a bad bad blogger!! lol!! sorry for not updating my blog for, er 2 weeks (?) now.. i've just been very... busy =P
i'm gonna blog about my Penang trip! it was very very very awesome! especially cuz i went there with my family =) for those who didn't know why i went to Penang, it was for my sis's 2nd wedding dinner..NO PICTURES IN THIS POST cuz i don't have them in my pc.. it's all in my bro's laptop.. maybe later on, u'll be able to see it on my facebook..
24th Sept, Thursday
i woke up at about 8 stg cuz sis came and woke me up.. she wanted to use my pc =.=!! so i started packing and at about 10, we all went to send JoJo off to the boarding school (we left him there for 4 days, my poor boy!!) after that, went for brunch ad the moment we reached home, we left for Penang at about 12.30.. the whole journey to Penang, let's just say i was sleeping.. ahahahah! not ALL THE WAY, i only woke up when they stopped at the rest stops.. ahahhahaha! reached Penang at about 4 stg/5 and we straight away went to Kg's relatives house..
sat around, sis got introduced as the new family member by KG to his relatives and finally at 5 stg, almost 6, we decided we've waited long enough, it was time for..........FOOD =D went to a hawker centre recommended by KG's relatives, ordered almost all the dishes Penang is famous for and we whacked!! =) it was so so so SATISFYING!!!! hahahaha...
first meal in Penang : 3 people in a table = 7 plates of food..lol!!
after that, we went back to one of KG's cousin's place to stay... very very beautiful home indeed, love th structure of it.. we rested, unpacked a lil, bathed and at around 9, my 4th Grand Aunt came to visit us cuz she lived nearby. cit chatted till about 10 stg, we decided to go makan again =D went to some big hawker stall to eat again but the food was not that good la..still, we ate.. ahahhaha! us youngsters dropped the parents, aunty and grandma at home and 5 of us went down to Komtar to get something from Iris's friend... we ended up eating "Tang Yuan" there =.=!! went home at about 1, i was already sleeping in the car so the minute i reached home, i just crashed on the bed..
25th Sept, Friday
woke up 8 stg the next day and we went to a shop, supposedly to be famous called Genting and whacked our breakfast there =) i have to say that was the best, BEST char koay teow i've tasted in Penang i my 4 days stay there... cuz almost everywhere i went, i ordered char koay teow =P so after breakfast, we went to a historical building called Khoo Kongsi.. it's some sort like an ancestral temple of the Khoo family.. Kg's Lim Kongsi was nearby too =)
however, Khoo Kongsi became a tourist attraction and so we had to pay to enter.. not too bad, only 5 bucks.. the place was very very beautiful, full of history, full of paintings...they even had their family history in there, showing the generations of Khoo and how at one generation, there was almost no successor cuz he only had one son.. luckily.. hahahahah! after Khoo Kongsi, we all went off to Penang Road for Cendol and Laksa!! it was a hot hot day indeed, so Cendol was just nice! plus, the Laksa was YUM!!!
after that, we all returned to the house to rest, so called rest but ended up none of us slept... we were just rolling around, laughing, annoyed bro to the max cuz he was trying to sleep.. lol.. then we all took turns to have out bath and at around 6 stg? 7? ( i can't remember) we went out to Gurney Drive to meet with the other part of our family : uncle,aunty and cousins..we had dinner at the famous Gurney hawker centre and ordered a lot =.=!! after dinner, we all walked along the whole Gurney Drive, the place was packed like mad! at around 10 i think, we finally went home.. took our showers again and slept..
26th Sept, Saturday
woke up at around 8, quickly got ready and went to Kg's relative's house for breakfast..they were serving their famous Nyonya Kuihs!! they've been making and selling Nyonya Kuihs for some time d i think in this market in Penang and it's known to be the best! after that, our family headed off to er...some road in Penang to visit our ancestors at some temple.. my great grandparents =) i've been there before but grandma insisted that we all go as a family cuz my dad hasn't been there before..after taking pics,paid our respects we went to Penang 'Little India' down the road..i bought some bangles courtesy of my aunty.. hehehe..
then, the group split up into 2.. cuz some wanted to go dunno where for koay teow sup and some wanted nasi kandar.. so split..i followed the nasi kandar gang =D it wasn't the Line Clear Nasi Kandar, but it was something else. they have a branch here in KL but i forgot the name.. it was good!! we ate soooo much!! the size of the mutton was like OMG.. hahahah...after Nasi Kandar, we all went home to rest before getting ready for the wedding dinner again... the make up artist came at about 3 stg or 4.. did sis's hair and make up first then did my mom's then did mine and cuz Aunty Helen saw us doing our hair, like so much fun, she decided to do her's too.. ahahha!
we quickly got ready and headed out to the restaurant at Jln Burma.. the restaurant was called Starview Restaurant and apparently the food's not too bad.. so we arrived there, got things i.e the drinks, the guest book etc. ready and just waited for the guest to just flow in.. it was so fun looking at Kg's cousins who are so much older than him but yet, they're still young at heart.. ahahhah...at about 7, they had the tea ceremony again for Kg's side.. after that, the dinner started..finally, i actually ate the my sis's wedding dinner T.T the Shark's Fin was delicious!! it was so so so good! out table only had 5 ppl, so we all had double servings of everything..
they had a karaoke set there, so ppl started singing and when Kg's cousins started singing, they were so funny! they sang english songs, then went on to hokkien songs then finally, a thai song =.=!! i couldn't understood a single word they spoke cuz they were speaking in hokkien but whatever they said sounded so funny!! hahahaha... Sha and i just randomly laughed the whole night. lol! the night ended well, we even ta pau-ed food home cuz sis and Kg didn't have much time to eat.. they were busy listening to the cousins singing and they themselves sang.. lol!
went home around 11 stg, had our showers to remove the hairspray and make up, then i hung out with sis and Kg while they ate and i went up and slept off myself.. ahhahaha...
27th Sept, Sunday
woke up early again cuz we were supposed to have breakfast with my 4th GrandAunt, so we went.. hehehe, guess what? my sis ad i started having stomach upset.. so bad that i felt one kind, like wind plus diarrhoea plus everything jumbled up.. sis, she was having cold sweat, like diarrhoea but not sure what was happening..so they went to a clinic to get a jab, i just slept after toilet trips..lol! we finally left Penang at noon and headed back to Kajang.. felt pretty sad cuz i'm leaving the best Char Koay Teow, best Chee Cheong Fun behind but wth, stomach upset at that time, didn't think that much.. hahahaha...
we stopped at 2 rest stops on the way back and finally reached home at about 5 stg or 6.. rested awhile and we went out for dinner..i came back and unpacked a little, looked at the Penang pics and went on to online all night.. hahahah..
i skipped school the next day cuz my stomach was still upset plus, my sis was going back to Johore.. but parents had a genius idea of going to PJ that afternoon.. and we spent the whole day there till night for dinner =.=!! after dinner, bro ditched us for movies at 1U and I HAVE TO DRIVE BACK FROM PJ!! at night!!! i've never driven that far before..and some more with my parents in the car, arghh... overall, it was ok la... only some idiot who wa son the phone just came out of a junction near my hse and i was this close to banging him.. after seeing that i was so close to him, he can stop some more!! too shocked to move =.=!! then the behind cars honked me!! arghhh....
so, finally, that was the end of my sis and Kg's wedding.. the wedding lasted for a week!! though during the weekday, we were just bumming around.. lol! next family event on the list : DEEPAVALI!!! =D Mr. & Mrs. Lim will be back too, in the morning itself and they'll only go back on Monday... whee...
i've gotto go now.. i skipped school today cuz i'm sick.. damn it!! sick for Deepavali 3 years in a row, i'm not kidding you... need to get well asap!

while waiting for my sis to finish bathing so that we could watch Gossip Girls, i shall blog about my long weekend..not much pics will be included cuz there are way too many and i'm lazy =P
17th September
after school, i rushed home and quickly drove out again to Jusco along with my aunty to buy some stuff for the door games.. came back ard 4 and i sent my mom out to town to get some stuff.. while she shopped, i went to the saloon to look for my sis.. after she finished her manicure and haircut, it was raining cows and elephants out there..
my sis gave the stupidest idea yet...i said stupid cuz it made us look like stupids.. hahahaha! we walked into 7 11 to buy...emergency raincoats..it wasn't blue or green or yellow, it was translucent..so we bought the raincoats and laughed in 7 11 like mad. then we ran out to the car across town in the rain, still laughing..finally we reached our car and we laughed again cuz for a moment, we didn't know how to enter the car with our wet raincoats.. ahhahaha...
we got into the car, picked my mom up at metro and went home.. had our shower and dinner and we, as in my bro,sis,mom and i started pacing the favours.. we worked till about 11 stg then we packed up...
18th September
woke up at 10, sis,bro,dad and i went out to town for last minute shopping..sis and i bought some flowers and picked the wedding gowns up.. we finally came home ard 3 stg to decorate the house and relax a lil.. around 7, people started flooding in cuz we had a makan at our home that night..grandparents from Perak came down.. cousins, uncles, aunties, relatives, family friends also came..
after everyone went home, i had to dry my sis's hair, do some stuff before going to bed..that night, i slept at 2 plus.. cuz of the itching on my ankles..yea, i got some allergy on my ankles and i've been scratching like mad everyday.. so i woke up and applied some cream..
19th September
woke up at 5.15AM by my sis saying that the make up artist was already there.. i had no idea why i woke up for,really..my parents also had to get up cuz sis will be using their room..after making a cup of coffee for my sis, opened the gates for the photographer,getting some stuff done, finally i took my bath and washed my hair..was painting sis's toenails and waited for my hair to dry and then i got ready..cuz it was almost 8 already.. the troops arrived at 8.30AM and we had games, lots of negotiation.hahaha..
then it was tea ceremony and i could see my mom almost tearing.. ahhahahaha! left our hse at ard 10 stg for the groom's house.. i followed one of the cars over cuz my family didn't have to go.. my only job there is to lift her dress from the wet ground and collect gifts =D tea ceremony at the groom's house and at about 11 stg, we finally settled down and had some food.. i went home at 12, changed,did my hair and i was out of the house again at 1..the bestman picked me up from my hse and drove to the groom's place,
ber-convoy go to church for the wedding mass at 2..
we were there way too early.. and i meant really early.. hahahaha.. waited and waited till about 1.55PM before letting my sis out of the car.. the ceremony was beautiful,not full of tears but laughter..lol.. after that, we took some pics and headed home in the pouring rain..i got home,bathed and immediately headed for the saloon to get my hair and make up done. sad to say, i reached the restaurant late =P i quickly changed and went to the registration table to help out..
dinner started an hour later, which was quite good compared to a lot other weddings.. the whole dinner i only ate like 3 pieces of food.. whatever they were la.. other than that, i was busy running around talking to ppl and helping my sis with her gown during the toast from table-to-table..at the end of the night, my feet were hurting like mad cuz i was wearing the same pair of heels for the whole day =) we went home at around 11 plus and had Uncle Ravi's surprise mini bday party...
fate or not, we had 3 special occasions on that day! first, it was my sis and bro in law's wedding day.2nd, it was my sis's godparents' 33th wedding anniversary and they were the witnesses for my sis's wedding...i think it meant a lot to them =) and, it was my uncle's bday!! how odd is it,the date 190909 meant so much to so many ppl this year..
from sunday till today, we've just been bumming around, waiting for tmr to come!! i'll be in Penang from tmr till Sunday or Monday for the newly wed's 2nd wedding dinner on Saturday.. we're going down a few days earlier so that we can get out hands on street food!! =D i just can't wait for chee cheong fun,har mee and char kuey teow!!!
as for now, i need to start packing.. cu i dun think i wanna pack early tmr morning.. have a great week ahead ppl!! =)

THE day, THE day...
the date is : 13th September 2009
THE day is 5 days away and wth, like so stress only... not only me, but everyone.. can't believe this is happening so quickly! before this, it was like a year left... then 9 months left... then 2 months left.. now, 5 DAYS left....yaaaarrrrhhhh!! if you're wondering what, it's my sis's wedding =)
and in these 5 days, 4 days i have tuition, things to buy and friend to meet..friday is already out, cuz that night itself, the wedding thing starts... this will be the first big event for both sides of our family!! hence, everyone's excited =)
on a different note, my godbro, Alex is leaving to UK tmr morning to further his studies...we will miss him for as long as he is gone...
i'm blank and i feel hungry... now, where's my ayam special, brother?!

2nd time in 2 weeks, i've dreamt of the same dream. the situations' are different, but overall, it's still the same...what are the odds, really! however, i didn't feel as shitty as i did the last time i dreamt of this..probably cuz the 2nd time around, the dream wasn't so clear but heck, i could still remember what happens at the end =.=!!
is this a sign from you, Lord? if yes, let there be a 3rd..
it must be crazy to dream about someone like once a week...well, for me it is..

Desaru 22/08/09
ok, i'm super sleepy but i'm determined to blog about my Johore trip...lol...
so, it started off with a normal Friday in school but somewhat times passed pretty quickly =) i went home, bathed, packed and quickly headed out again for lunch... i reached the station at about 2.15..finally boarded the train at 2.40.. my 6 hours train ride was quite dreadful cuz there are like kids screaming and playing in front of me..on top of that, their mom was scolding them =.=!! and also, i kept receiving phone calls, so i kept waking up.. lol...
oh, and i arrived at 9, an hour later than the scheduled time. fml. thank goodness i had food with me or else i wold have died of hunger..
i would just skip to the day when me, my sis and bro in law went to Desaru.. left at about 9... reached there at about 10 stg/11.. ate a little and went into the water! as some of ya'll might know, i dunno how to swim so yea, i jus stayed by the shore... and it was...fun i guess...lol! i was busy taking pics of myself..hahahahah! i hardly go to beaches k, so must get some nice pics of myself =)

then after that, badan merah-merah...

then after Desaru we went to my sis's and bro in law's new house.looked around and then headed to Jusco Bukit Indah for some shopping..bro in law bought a suit..walked ard till abou 6 then went home, rest for awhile and we went to City Square to watch District 9... i dunno what to comment about that show cuz for me, it was pretty sad and violent... i was closing my eyes quite a bit =P
on Sunday, sis went for tuition in the afternoon and then sis and i went for facial..my first experience of facial and it was kinda nice!! right after facial, we went for buffet steamboat...lol!! makan makan till we could barely move then we went home cuz bro in law had to work the next day....
sis went for driving classes on Monday morning and when she came back in the afternoon, we took a bus out to CS for shopping... from 1 to 8, we were finding for shoes =.=!! oh, and dresses too but couldn't find a nice one... i could easily say we walked all 3 floors like at least 3 times the whole day... ahhahaha... finally, sis bought a pair and i also bought one for the wedding...
Tuesday i did nothing the whole day except for playing Sims =) cuz sis went for driving classes in the morning and evening.. and u wonder what i do besides playing Sims? am i all alone? the answer is no!! i have this cute boy together with me =D
Bali!! Diane, my sis's housemate's kitten..he's so cute!! but also ganas at the same time...he scratched and bit me like mad...weird but still cute...

then, on Tuesday night, sis and i took the night train back to Kajang cuz on Wednesday morning i had a doc's appointment... i came back ard 6, didn't sleep and went to the hosp at 7.30... lol...
lazy wanna update about things happened for the last 2 days but i guess i'll update soon? or not =P
holidays coming to an end, and if u would like to know, i haven't done my homework yet.. hahahahah! i miss Ivy and friends in skul!! we laugh like mad everyday =.=!! and i miss disturbing Jun Hao too.. lol..
need to sleep now.. tmr will be a long day, i can foresee now...have a great weekend before skul starts again! =)

i konon wanna go on a hiatus la, but since i'm waiting for dinner now (it's 7PM, i doubt i can finish typing by 7.30 though =P), i shall blog...
throughout the week, multiple things happened in school... basically the conversations between Ivy and i.. it goes something like this:

apparently, Mr.KJ banged into a mannequin when he was too busy looking at the car, and his first reaction was to apologize to the mannequin, thinking it was a human... ahhahahahah! so we laughed and laughed, and laughed for the next half an hour...lol..
then, ok this is gonna sound a little vulgar.. but it was accidental la k... honest to God!! i didn't realise until Ivy told me...
some car just cut into our lane in town without signal or anything..so we were like mini-scolding the car and i was agreeing what Ivy said so my response was: MA HAI... LORRR...that's cantonese for YA LA... i said the LORR slow cuz i was looking for parking also, so wasn't really concentrating on talking...u HAVE to know that i speak cantonese like a Mat Salleh, i can't get some of the pronunciations right...so Ivy looked at me one kind and started giggling... i wondered why..
soon, i found out i just cursed..i dun even know what language is that!! cantonese i think? or mandarin? dunno la! but what i wanted to say is MAI HAI LORR...my pronunciation cut off the I, LOL!! then after that, i saw some driver doing some stuff again but i said WA HAI this time.. Ivy still tot i cursed and she burst out laughing =.=!! good God, i only curse in English =P
there are more stuff that happened but i can't recall at the moment, so that's that..the only other thing that happened to me was, i got voted to be the asst.secretary of the Form 6 club in KHS...i don't know if i should be happy or not, but i guess i'm honoured? lol...
it's 7.32Pm, i gonna check on the dinner... till then, HIATUS RESUMES.. hahahaha, wtf...

my so-called sand castle la.. my sis came up with the idea of building the tallest and steadiest "sand mountain" and my bro in law suggested that we throw balls of sand at whichever pile of sand..first to drop, loses =) and i think my sis's one dropped first.hahahaha!
